i think botting is about to be ended...

unless you have lots of clean keys and change your ip every 4-6 hours

You morons are just too stupid to bot.

As I said many times.

1. 1 Acc 1 IP 1 CLEAN Keyset 6-8h per day max.

2. Rewrite your scripts to act like a human. That means no direct tileinteractions, no fixed delays between actions. no hard corded coordinates, no leftclickskills, no stashabuse, no telepick, no telekinwp, proper packet usuage(just because some packets ignore some dwords it doesn't mean they will always allow them to be Null).

Just because Blizzard is kicking your bots right away it doesn't mean they aren't flagging.

But the geniuses you are you switch keys constantly just telling blizzard which key to turn into an Aids key they ban later with your next bot.

The only surprising thing was that they realized that some people are using webhosts for botting. But more likely those guys were smart enough to go all in on webhosts and Blizzard was like "What kind of ISP is that"

How were people using webhosts to bot? I'm not asking because I intend to to do it as I haven't played the game since 1.09d I am just genuinely curious what that entails

The same way you bot when you don't have Windows.

You go clientless.

Itemshops always used those for more primitive tasks such as shopbotting and static area botting.

With the proxy, public cdkey and Virtualserver crackdown shops(those who are mostly buying characters after reset) had no choice but to focus on unix based servers and Webhosts.

Windowsbased Servers were used by the regular botters as well, so there are very few not being caught.

There are several ways they got caught.

1. They went all in and Blizzard saw a strange peak from certain locations.

2. They were abusing something like NPC moving and Blizzard added 1 and 1 together.

3. The characters they bought were leveled with AIDS keys and AIDS spread among shops.

Don't assume those shops are delayed in any way. There is less demand caused by bans and they keep defrauding keys so such a loss is calculated.
