Failure to follow these rules will result in your post/thread to be removed/locked/edited. Ignorance is not an excuse.

1) This is the Diablo II forum, only post topics related to Diablo II.

2) If you post a hack/bot or WHATEVER file, post the source of it(where you got it from). If you made it, then let us know. Posting a bad file (trojaned , virus or whatever alike) will get you banned. Post any programs in the Diablo II Bots and Program Support Forum.

3) No spam, no stupid quoting, no crap. Extremely stupid topics will be considered spams, and as spam it will be removed.

4) General Discussion general rules apply here too. Read them <here>

5) At this time, there is to be no trading. Any posts trying to trade anything will result in a trash or lock.

6) If you post information, its nice if you post the source of it. If you post a link to information and it requires registration to view your thread will be locked.

7) NO BEGGING. Don't ask for free keys, accounts, items or anything alike. No validation reasons, you lost them somehow, sucks to be you.

8) If you have a question about a bot and/or are looking for a link to download one post in the Diablo II Bots and Program Support Forum. Any posts made in this forum will be either moved, locked or trashed. Before making a new post check the other threads/stickies to make sure that your question/request has not been answered already. EoN is not responsible for any programs sent to you by any users on this forum.

These rules may be changed at any time. If you see a new post in this thread , make sure to read since it means the rules have been updated.

D2JSP or other Diablo II related sites are *NOT* acceptable topics to create a thread about. You can mention or link to them in a post, but only if it's solicited.

Lately queries as to purchasing private hacks have been coming up rather frequently. EoN does not support or condone the selling or purchasing of such "private hacks". Just about everything can be obtained from this site for free if you take the time to look. Also most private hacks get leaked eventually. However, if you are genuinely interested in hiring a coder for a serious project. Make your queries in #bhdev on SynIRC.net -- that is where most of the coders idle. Don't be annoying and your offer better be interesting and plausible otherwise you're likely just to be kicked anyway. The message boards are not for this, though.

I've been getting a lot of queries about users getting scammed in trades, or people selling/trading off scripts/hacks authored by someone else as their own. This should be common sense, but just so it is clear, as far as I know, this is our current stance on this:



If you have valid proof of someone scamming users by using Blizzhackers as a place to prey on potential victims, please forward your claim to me through a Private Message and I will file it in the staff forum so the user can be judged for a "Scammer" tag. This is the best I can do at the moment.

Ok, I thought this was well known by now, but I guess not. I've mentioned it many times before, but for the sake of avoiding inconvenience of our members, I'll go over it again. Mentioning certain phrases related to this site, known usernames of some staff members, or linking to the site itself will result in an automatic temp ban from D2JSP. This includes inside private messages as well. njaguar has set the wordfilter to autoban for it.
