Since I'm assuming a large part of the community quit and went to D3

Have been botting in D2 for a few years.
Always 24/7. Never, anything happened.

So i guess it's pretty safe

And PVP mods n shit? Other programs

There hasn't been any bans in a lonnnnnnnnnnng time, unless you use something flagged.

Even then i think warden is off anyway.

What programs are flagged

The only time I got banned was back when 1.11 was released. And Netter released easymap and that got me banned. T_T

So u can use map hack and tmc now.?

The general rule of thumb that I followed forever was, for every time Blizzard patched and/or reset the ladder it was time to get rid of the old maphack and get a new one a few months later after others confirm or deny the new version is undetectable. This time around, I only see the ones from late 2011 when there was a patch/ladder reset in May of 2012. So can anyone confirm that the 2011 generation of maphack has not caused any trouble for them?

yes pvp hacks for d2 are quite safe but the -direct hacks will get you banned almost instantly so i suggest if ur gonna use any hacks just use a pk program

I'm actually a new D2 person, having played D3 and hearing how good D2 was...Yes, I know the graphics/gameplay/economy will be different or dead...

I want to experience the gameplay, but also bot a bit...Where should I start to find the info as to whether something still works? I've been through many threads on the board, but many haven't had activity is quite a long time.
