From what I've seen, if it's all caps, it gets through. ie http://WWW.SITE.COM or SITE.COM

edit: It was easy enough to add the words, so now it blocks most of it.

The spam/ham databases are from quite a while ago, so it's likely to miss some things. I'll provide updated databases as things go (hrm... maybe I need to write a quick utility to merge databases).

Could you make it possible that spamfilter lets me write ".something" msgs in chat? Besides that the filtering actually works pretty good. Thx for releasing this.

Done. I'll make a new release a bit later though, got a few other things I need to take care of first.

i no this is for a diff game but also thought this might help as you can see how they did it and maybe make a spin off for this game. This catches 100% of spammers//gold spammers witch is almost as bad as it is in d2.

My method is more flexible and more powerful. Theirs is a simple character case checker, where mine is a full-blown Bayesian filter.

How does this work? Like can warden detect it? I'm not trying to get banned again for something dumb, like d2loader

It can run via cGuard, which is the same protection scheme that D2BS uses. In theory it's possible to detect, but in practice they'll simply send a lawyer my way long before they go through the hassle of detecting it.

If you don't trust me, don't use it. But I guarantee you that it's a false positive.

this could be great, but as said in an above post it lets messages through that are in all caps, example D2LEGIT.COM or WWW.D2LEGIT.COM

So then add those messages to the filter. I provided more than enough help documentation both in-game and out of game and in the actual documentation that came with it to allow you to do that.

Ok, in the next few days I will be releasing a new update to this that improves the databases and fixes the one noted bug. I am officially making a call for bugs and spam. If you have any bugs you want fixed or spam you want added to the official databases, let me know now.
