OOG profiles and D2Driver profiles are different. However, the d2bs.ini entry should Just Work in D2Driver--that was one of the things I extensively tested. I'd be interested in seeing one that doesn't work.

I woke up this morning and found my bot in sleep time 2 minutes due to 5 heart bits missed.

Is this d2 fault?
How i can reduce 2 minutes time?

The point of the 2 minutes' time is to let the old process finish whatever it's doing, let Battle.net unlock your account/character/cdkey, and then start the game back up. You can't change it, it's hardcoded into the program.

And the new version of D2Driver has been uploaded. See the first post.

[EDIT] Fixed a few serious crash bugs. Please grab the download again if you caught it before this edit.

I get an error about gamemanager.dbl, not being in scripts/lib/ and I don't see in in the download.

I tried searching but google returns this "your client is forbidden"

I forgot to have it make the libs folder if it doesn't exist. This will be fixed in the next release.

First of all, thanks for D2Driver - it's brilliant.

Now a small question/request - would it be possible to allow d2driver to 'hide' the d2 window, in a similar way OOG does? And does hiding a window actually reduce CPU load ?

Cheers.

Hiding the Diablo window while being maximized wont help much at all.
Minimizing the Diablo will help reduce the cpu load , but hiding again wont help reducing it much more at all.
I understand why you want it to be hidden because i also like the taskbar to be clean. Anyway if lord wants to add that he will since its nothing major to hide a window.
But d2bs has a kinda sleepy hack(at least in the svn) which reduces the cpu load a lot which helps better to reduce cpu load than minimizing at least for me.

@ lord very nice oog you've created, just spotted it. Sadly its closed source hehe ;)

is there any way to increase the delay between opening a diablo window *when you press start* to when the d2driver actually checks to see if diablo is open? that is one of the main problems i am having because it will go in this order
1 opens diablo *diablo delays to open sometimes*
2 waiting 2 minutes *then diablo window pops up*
3 tries to open a new diablo and error message pops up "only one copy of diablo can run at a time*
repeat and ends up with thousands of those error messages

so yeah, any way to increase that delay?

I get this error when trying to add a new profile via D2Driver (Just downloaded it)

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I had the same error, but if you simply click 'Continue' you will still have your profile added to the list, then you can click 'Edit' and re-enter whatever options weren't saved before it encountered the exception. Worked for me.

Sure. I can add that.

Yeah. It's not exactly the same thing, but it's better than standard d2.

You could just ask me. ;)

Strictly speaking, it doesn't check if the window is open. It knows the window is there because the PID is valid.

I'll see what kind of detection I can do against that. That case shouldn't happen in theory, and I haven't made it happen for me, but I think I can make it appear as such to my code.

Aww crap, you mean I missed that?! Damn. I'll fix that.
