Having a different issue now-- I can't even get d2loader to begin to run successfully.
Either it starts diablo and diablo runs an exception (This is when I try and use d2 loader with oog d2bs folder)
OR I run it from a fresh d2bs folder with nothing else and I cannot even create a profile without throwing an exception.

and my sorc makes game and stands there in game... anyone know how 2 get her 2 do some work?

is there any code available for this?
I would like to have a look and maybe add some things.

anyway here are 2 issues i found:
1. it never works on first "start"; it reports that d2 did not start so obviously it will fail to start it again
i always have to close d2 by hand, kill and start again
2. consequence of 1 - after every 2 mins it will try to start a new d2 which is not possible since first instance was started
the result is know error (only one d2 instance allowed) which is never closed
and after some time the screen is full of these messageboxes (1 every 2 mins)

well nothing is "closed" when is done in .net
i could easily reverse engineer the code from the exe
however things will not look the same as in the original code

Both of those issues will be fixed in the next release. I'm waiting because of the impending release of 1.4 (which contains some key features for how some of the new features work).

still regarding to nr 2
it happens the same if d2 crashes with an error message
driver will try to open a new instance every 2 mins but it will fail
since the first instance was never closed (message is still on the screen
so the process still exists)

One more request if possible:
make the app to connect to an existing instance of D2 as an option (like d2bs does)
this way d2driver could be used also when connection is made via proxy
(d2 is started via another application in this case and all connections are routed by this application)

And another one :D
to have an option to start D2 minimized

is it possible to run multiple cdkeys with this? i know with OOG u have a box, and i read a post where lord2800 stated on nov.2 that the new release of d2bs or a manger would make it so you dont have to use d2multi to load multi keys. Is there any update on this, if not how would i go about running multi keys with d2driver?

D2Driver for now is not capable of that.

Most work involving this is in with 1.4 core which has some more work yet to be done.

i played around with d2driver these days and i would like to mention two feature requests.

1. CPU Affinity as an option, not hardcoded
2. Follower possibilites for a) using friendlist and b) channel chat

optional third one. allow modification of starter/gamemanager, though i fully understand why you want to prevent that ^^

1 will happen (I'm revising the whole settings code so it's easier to manage them on both ends), 2 will happen, and 3 I'm going to make an option, defaults to disabled.

Hi...
I'm having problems in OOG... The program start and close in 2 sec, without showing the config window.

So Im thinking use D2Driver. Is this system working?
