Mine just says I don't have the diablo 3 license attached to the account.. the d3sharp doesn't do anything past this:

[ Info] [Program]: d3sharp v0.0.4279.43095 warming-up..
[ Info] [Program]: Server is listening on port 1345...

Anyway someone can tell me what exactly i am supposed to do with this? I have never done anything with coding so I don't know if i need a program to do something with this or what? Thanks

make a shortcut to your "Diablo III.exe"

in the Target of that shortcut add -launch -auroraaddress 127.0.0.1:1345 to the end

download and extract the op archive

    run D3sharp.exe

    open your d3 shortcut

log in with any random account credentials

    walk around town

    ?????

sit in irc and talk :D

Seems easy enough. Thanks alot man

Edit: Crashing for me as soon as the char screen comes up.

I am having the same exception. Have you had any luck?

i ended up fixing it, for me it was a port forwarding issue (apple wireless routers are finicky!)
edit: i stand corrected, it worked once but not again

Port forwarding shouldn't be necessary, all communication is staying within your own computer.

im crashing at the character select screen too. Here is my error. Anyone else having something similar?

i used the regular d3 client installed from blizz downloader.
copy and paste the town sandbox crack
Add the shortcut info the the target location
Run Sharp
Run d3 client

Logging in works perfectly but about 3-5 seconds in the char select screen this is the error i get.

Thanks guys! this progress is huge!

{debug} [packet router}:- {exception} google.protocolbuffers.unitializesmessageexception:message missing required fields: partition_id, Data at google.protocolbuffers.generated builder '2 build()
at google.protocolbuffers.abstractbuilder'2.google.protocolbuffers.ibuilder.weakbuild()

then its followed by a couple {trace} commands ending with [trace] [program]:client disconnected 127.0.0.1:52089

Does anyone have the fix to "ERROR_7" (Error 7)?

Why does the whole community tell me "Don't ask about Error 7" and threaten to ban me when I talk about error 7?

Even the IRC forum http://qchat1.rizon.net/?channels=d3se&uio=d4 has "Don't ask about Error 7" integrated at the top of their page!
Well, i just got banned from the IRC because I asked about "ERROR_7".

!!!!!!ERROR 7!!!!!
I found this "Error 7 fix by gaddas" but i don't understand how to download it: https://github.com/xynoman/d3sharp/comm ... 9d18f6ff19

plz people....the instuctions are about as easy as it gets for setting up the sandbox server. you dont have to be be a programming expert to know how to set it up

if you are unfamiliar with any of the concepts in this thread you should google them before asking

FYI: Make sure you make apply the runtime argument in a shortcut to Diablo III.exe and NOT the launcher exe (the one that gets put on your desktop upon client install id for the launcher). if you dont know what the previous sentence means you should probably not try and set this thing up...

On another note, i am glad C# is being used for server development

I used the link on the forums to try getting past "Retrieving Hero List" to no help on windows 7(86bit)

Installed C:\Program Files(x86)\System.Data.SQ.lite

Still getting stuck receiving my third checkmark -- my D3sharp.exe image was posted earlier and the link on the forums being a response to the issue did not work around it.

Well this is working fine... Just installed Beta, Downloaded the archive on the OP, Ran it and started D3 with the shortcut params...
So easy a dolphin could do it!
Could not exit the game once I was done checking the town out tho... Had to Alt-F4 it :P
Good work!
