Got hacked. Took all my in-game gold, gold from completed auctions and from one auction I was outbid on. Left every single item alone though.
My computer is new (built 2 days before D3 release) so low chance of infection. But on the same note, I havent added any security to it as well. I just browse FB on it, or shit friends link. I save the hardcore porn for my laptop in bed lol. I don't have an authenticator either, Ive never been hacked so didnt really think Id need one. I have used this password before but rarely for random sites. I juggle around 4 passwords i use frequently, and use THIS one mainly for school accounts (university email/userID/student loan shit) BUT I would be lying if I said I've never accidentally used it on other sites. Its a fairly "safer" pw so figured I'd attach it to my bnet account too. Ahh fuck....

With that said, I am fairly certain a majority of hacking comes from people getting e-mail/password info from other sites and trying it out. So just for everyones safety, especially if you dont have an authenticator. Use an ORIGINAL password for your B.net account and the e-mail address linked to it. Do it now. You will feel 100% safer afterwards, trust me lol.
