Honestly, I don't know much at all about Ott or Pardy (I hear the latter is pretty bad), but I consider it a good trade because we finally got rid of Roy. Him and Lindy started to not get along and I'm glad to see him out of what is considered our core.

Fucking hell. Ott is a fantastic agitator who can actually back it up with offense. He's so easily hated but I'm going to miss him. Pardy, don't care. Unless we can turn Roy into a consistent 30 goal scorer then you guys definitely got the best of this deal.

That said, with his shit performance we might be able to resign Roy for super-cheap next year and then I wouldn't mind as much

there is no hope. it's gonna happen. EDM got better with Yakapov and Schultz.. COL got better, MIN just got A LOT better.. and there is no way VAN is worse than CAL.. Unless they do something drastic, they will be bottom for sure. NW just went from the worst division in hockey to possibly one of the best..
