Hey all I wrote a simple bot to farm Haile's Chest in Bastion's Keep. Thought I'd share since there's a real lack of any source for D3 bots and hope that me sharing this simple bot will encourage others to do the same.

Very nice, big improvement on mine. I wonder if the mouse clicks can be randomized further by removing the straight line movement and randomizing the mouse movement speeds. I'm a bit worried about using this myself in the long term because I was disconnected from the server twice when I was testing mine a few days ago. It might just be paranoia though lol

I 100% agree. Something that will be coming at some point. I don't even really like using AutoIt for anything other than fast hack jobs like this.

This is sooooo much not worth it.
Anyway: concerning your coding, it is good practice to wait if d3 is not in the foreground instead of putting it there yourself. Other than that it looks like a regular (adequate) Au3 script.

Ya it's by far not the best d3 bot you can make, I'm the first to admit. Frankly I just wrote it to try to guilt people into releasing some source since I'm having a hard time writing a basic bot using memory reading, I'd love to see someone share some source that just did some simple output [msgbox in autoit, console output in java, etc] of the current user's name and hp or something similar.

RE: the actual bot, yes there's a chest in act3's town that can only be opened once, this bot runs to it, opens it, grabs the gold, exits the game, creates a new game, rinse & repeat. K_OS not 100% sure what you mean, I don't really use AutoIt for anything so there's probably some standard best practices I'm just ignorant of, feel free to improve and share.

Can you make this for windowed mode, I don't even have the option to change game resolution to 1280x768

Everytime i launch the script, the mouse click on the "Begin" button but nothing else happen, Autoscript pause the script.... any tips ?

same here i think it has to do with him making this program to only work with some peoples screen size i don't even have the option in game to change it to what the instructions say :facepalm:
