I can't be fucked to manually generate montages of items I have for selling on jsp, so I put together a little python script to do it for me.

It generates something like this:

It automatically names items #1, #2, etc.

Binary: http://drx.pl/d3-montage.zip (this is what you want to download if you just want to use it)
How to use: select a bunch of item screenshots and drag and drop them onto montage.exe. It should create a file like Montage 2012-06-02 at 03.49.40.png

It requires python 2.7 and PIL (python imaging library)

It can also be run this way from console:

$ ./montage.py screenshot1.png screenshot2.png ... screenshotn.png

OK, posted the .exe (check the first post).

Also changed the font from a bitmap abomination to a truetype (ttf) font, looks much nicer now:

This seems like a great tool.. but I have a newbish question. Is there a way to screenshot just the item, and then use this to paste them into the montage? Or do we have to screenshot, crop, save, repeat, then use this?

I've tried alt+printscreen which is what you'd normally use to isolate a window, but I can't get it to work on D3.

I made a tool for auto screenshoting items. If you upload them to imgur it creates an auto numbered gallery.

If you want to sell xx items, you cannot post xx images, therefor you must put xx items into x images.

click PrScreen button on keybord while in diablo, go to documents, diablo 3, screenshoots and by using puush.me software take screenshot of item you need. then click on link thats appears, i guess its faster than write all numbers in that generator
