I'm considering getting one of these (probably second hand). I'm a little bit apprehensive about getting a 360 because they seem to break with relative ease, so if I get one second hand and it screws up, I'll be p. unhappy.
I'm not too bothered about playing online either.
What one is easier to mod to allow playing of backups?
I can get a banned relatively new xbox 360 for £45....
Though a PS3 seems more durable in regards to breaking and what not.
EDIT: I can get a 320GB PS3 for £130....

xbox 360 for £45....
PS3 for £130.... Also, 360 has games (whereas PS3 does not).

PS3 is easier to mod afaik
also better hardware
but it has less games
hard choice

the only reason to get a xbox is for the better online interface and multiplayer shit. rest of the system is trash. who cares if you got a awesome online system if you can even get online because you got your 5th red ring of death that week.
ps3 is the best budddddd

I find the ps3 controller a pain in the ass to handle. Xbox's is much more ergonomic.
