Grr I've just written Samsung a complaint for their shitty website, it doesn't have basic categories and they even left out CPU details on some of their phones. The final nail in the coffin is the names of those retarded phones which in most cases have no indication of what purpose they're intended for. If the name is going to be useless at least don't make it long.

So here I am BH, I don't want to give my money to Apple because they sell an overpriced pos. But ultimately my biggest problem with them is a jailbreak away, so no biggie with morals.
What I need is a smartphone for the basics in browsing and some apps for booking and whatnot, still very, very basic stuff.
Call quality is super important.
Responsiveness is really important, both the touchscreen and the processor.
Size too, I can't stand anything bigger than the current size of the 4S. (So please no Galaxy S# suggestions, also fuck Samsung)

I don't need it for games, or movies.
Memory doesn't really matter to me either, to this day I'm content with my Zen Neeon 6GB so yeah anything in the memory department is satisfactory.
Price - depends if something is really, really future-proof (my needs won't change, but sites and programs will get more demanding) then yeah, I'll buy it, otherwise no I don't need the latest if it's over $300.

I can't think of anything else.

Thank you, BH.

I have the htc titan. Its the first phone ive been happy with in about 6 years. It kicks extreme amounts of ass.
specs here: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_titan-4027.php

but seriously man, Imo, windows 7 (mango) phones are godlike compared with iphone and android.

If you're looking for something smaller than an iPhone you're going to be SOL. Most decent smart phones are bigger than the iPhone 4S. Very few come close (Pantech Burst, Samsung Focus Flash (I haven't had a problem with Samsung at all)), so good luck. You're looking for a phone in a market where people want a medium sized screen display.

The HTC Titan / Titan 2 / Lumia 900 are all rather large Windows phones. Good luck finding something small that can match an S3 / 4S / OneX, because afaik there isn't one around.

Currently doing sales for AT&T fyi, best suggestion I'd offer is a Pantech Burst.

Are you on AT&T currently?

If you want a good phone and aren't so picky about the size with your small girly hands, the OneX might be right up your alleyway

Smaller than the iPhone? *lol* the iPhone is one of the tiniest smartphones in existence, because it has to fit in a bunch of hipsters pants. It also makes the phone practically unusable because the screen is so tiny.

No Samsung? *lol* Samsung is *THE* manu to go through for Android phones currently. The Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S3 are best on market atm, both Samsung phones. The One X is decent but gets outshined by the SGS3/SGN easily.

Get the Galaxy Nexus, it's best.

Eh, the SGN/SGS2/SGS3/One X/iPhone 4S are all about the same camera quality wise, main differences are in speed. Galaxy Nexus is just as fast and roughly same quality as the One X. I still say stay away from HTC until they fix their shit -- the One X is their first decent phone in 2 years, so..

IMO Samsung is also the most guilty of changing specs for every region the phone is released into and then making it damn near impossible to find out what is actually in the phone you are getting. No Wolfson in the US GS3? Fuck you samsung. And Fuck you Verizon.

They claim the reason for the lack of quad core in the US SGS3 is due to conflicting with the 4G LTE or some bullshit

Im not upset about the CPU. THe dual core its packing is fuckin snappy as hell. I am fuckin pissed about the US version (or at least the Verizon version) not packing a Wolfson DAC. Tell us it has one then neglect to mention it doesnt.

Thats fuckin shady marketing.

Thanks for the all the advice and the jokes :P It's not that I have small hands it's that I prefer small phones since I won't always be looking at it or using it. No I'm not on AT&T I live in the UK.

I'm considering the One X since I won't ever have to buy another phone again, until I need better reception on the Moon.

If you have more suggestions for smaller smartphones I'm all ears.

I picked up the Galaxy Nexus a couple of weeks ago, and I'm very satisfied coming from a Nexus One (prior to that I had a G1). The speed of the OS is very smooth, and I haven't ran into a situation requiring root yet. The battery life feels pretty good as well. Also, at $350 it's pretty damn cheap.

The thing you have to watch out for on the One X is that the international version uses a Tegra 3 (4+1 core SoC), whereas the US model uses a dual core. The most noticeable difference realistically is the battery life.

I use a samsung Galaxy S 4G and it's great, no problems with it really.

My only recommendation is to definitely go with android over iphone. Same reason you should get a PC over a mac... it's fucking apple and they rip you off
