I've been wondering for some time now, and I think it could actually work - Though it's illegal.

If a skilled programmer / hacker (since u have to be inside blz's database)
programmed a program to make a "Drop" list on mobs -
I don't mean like the cosmos drop rates for some things.
but u can see what that specific mob ur standing in front is dropping - that would be extremely easy to get items?

Imagine runnning around a bunch of mobs and just see a picture over theyre heads, what they're dropping.

BUT this will only work if blizz has put a specific drop in the specific mob. If they had like a 100 possibilities, switching every second it would make no sense to make this program. But just want to know if it was a possibility?

Impossible. People don't understand that their is too many things to prevent such things. If this was possible, don't you think it would of been done already? Now if you could do that, why not just send some packets and instantly make yourself 60 many times and sale off the characters? Not going to happen.

the thought is intelligible tho...

the loot tables for a mob are decided as SOON as they spawn, so its very possible in that sense... but like the post above me said... i cant imagine how much would have been put in place to prevent that

Considering how wide the variety of loot is from random/trash youd be better off lookin it up on alla or thott.

I like the idea, though highly doubt that the drops are decided until the mob actually dies.
