..on my photography.

I'm a total amateur, I haven't done much editing before but I was trying my best to get some creative ideas flowing. I have my pictures on my facebook, and all my friends are all pretty positive about them. Was looking for some more opinions. Was thinking depending on feed back may look into some photography courses, as I have no idea what I want to do with myself in the future haha.

Here are a few pictures I took. I don't consider myself a good photographer. I'm just decent. I have some alright composition, good technical camera skills (with a decent camera), and decent post-processing skills.

Your pictures look identical to every first-time photographer's first photoshoot. You are trying to be creative and just coming off as tripe. I have seen near identical pictures a million times over. Getting a nicer camera, technical skills, and post-processing will help. But ultimately you need to work on your subjects and composition.

As far as the question goes-- do you have potential? That's impossible to tell at this point. Take some camera courses and pour yourself into them. See where it takes you. If you ever want to make money off photography (not including boring family portraits) you need to be a good businessman, be able to market yourself, and most of all have a unique talent.

It's not good, but it isn't necessarily bad. None of seem to be in good focus, but you're probably just using a cheap camera so that doesn't help.

Also, your post-processing is rubbish and doesn't help at all. If you don't really know you're way around photoshop, I don't recommend messing around with much other than curves or making minor corrections until you know what you're doing. Look around online for some general composition/lighting/etc info.

Looks okay; content is pretty dull imo.

Is #1 heavily edited by a photography program?

any kid with a camera thinks they're a photographer. Pics aren't unique, have seen similar ones 1000 times on FB.

i'd say keep people as your subject, which is the mane focus. From your photos that are up that one was the best. (:

GOOD LUCK! Don't give up once you get the hang of it almost anything you see you want to take pictures of! :D
