This might be a noob question but i need to know. If you make an account on a different computer in your house.. (My girlfriends laptop) could i have 2 accounts if they aren't both logged in at the same time?

if you logged anyone else jsp account on any ip you used your account on you could get locked

Posting for the 394058439085349th time. Changing MAC is useless. No one outside your local network can see your MAC.

I've had countless jsp accounts banned for stupid shit.
That's my method every-single-time. Change my vpn server, chance my pc MAC, make a new account. I don't even clear my cookies/cache.

about 3 years ago I think, I stole an Account of some very trusted guy who was mostly active on uswest tradin forums. I used to purchase 13k fg with an stolen pp account and bought a perfect pal equip from some EU Ladder guy for 13k fg fasttrade. (sold it on ebay few days later )

Njaguar was pissed like hell and told me some stuff about calling police and bullshit, anyway I just created a new account after:

changing lan mac adress
clearing all sorts of cookies (I think I formated my PC in this time.. not sure though)
modifing my router (I used to get IP's in 172. range, after changing some setting in my fritzbox I only received IP's in 88. range)

I still got this Account while I wrote this.. been active from time to time, spammed, traded, everything never had any probs






This is bullshit, you can use Java to get the MAC Adress of browsing people, at least it was possible in the past (just google.. you'll find enough infos..)

If you give full trust to a rogue applet, yes it can. But then again, it's your fault for letting a such java applet run. Just disable java in the browser.
Not to mention that the startup time for a such applet will be somewhat noticeable.

Either way, changing your mac address is not the solution, because if you let the java applet run, there are other things that can be done to identify you.

It is still fact, that your MAC address does not get transmitted outside your local network. The way this works is that you are letting pretty much a trojan run on your PC and steal your confidential data, then send it to the third party.

Is it really that hard? Make a new email, google "free proxie", find one that doesn't suck ass, and multi away. No cookie cleaning, no mac changing, no flash deleting, just don't be stupid with it.

If you make a jsp account today and have a shitpot of fg tomorrow, you will get locked. Don't make the same friends, don't join the same guilds, be as smart as you can about it.
