I have a fresh download of D2NT 3.1 from here. As well as a fresh install of Diablo 2. I have had this bot set up prior to my hiatus from this game, but now I intend to start up again and I am following what I believe to be my exact steps from the last time I set it up, yet I continually get the c00000005 (perhaps an incorrect number of zeroes, but I don't care)

My situation:

I run the D2NT manager after setting up my 'profile'.
Diablo 2 loads and sits at main menu for about 1 second.
I receive the unhandled exception error (c0000005)
Diablo 2 closes itself.
D2NT attempts to reload itself, giving me the same error (steps 2-4)

If anybody has any prior experience with this and knows a fix, please let me know. I'd like to get a bot set up again.

might be a problem with the dll..
you need a new one
guess its in his folder

else search for d2nt 3.3 or the new dll.

i got the same problem too.
and i tried the new one above, the problem remains unchanged.

i had same problem download the old bot from here:

and just copy the d2NT.DLL file into the new version. then it works

ladder reset 28th oct 2011. Any version released before that date does NOT work. there are a few updated versions that do work, check the date before downloading.

i tried to download the version in your link, replacing the D2NT.dll of my old version, and
i tried to download the version in your link, put the new D2NT.dll into my old version,

none of above worker T_T any more suggestions?

tried D2ETAL-v3.165-1018.P-3.3nt also..didn't work..

if you're a vista or win7 user are you running as administrator and in xp sp3 compatability mode?

The only way to get the updated Etal is from their site. Link in my sig.

i ran it in xp sp3 compatability mode and as administrator,
tried the latest Etal in ProjectEtal.com

and nothing changes......ths for everything though!

Your D2 and D2NT version needs to be the same. Have you patched your D2 to 1.13c before running D2NT?

Running the game w/o d2nt will automatically patch it.
